Geaves launches new Italian ranges

Geaves Surface Solutions is launching a series of exciting new display finishes and products for the retail industry.

Among the new ranges available through Geaves is:

VIBRAZIONI:

A functional, versatile line which combines spherical, textured finishes with a range of colours that create ‘light vibrations’.

The design of Vibrazioni is characterised by a three-dimensional style which gives the impression of an indefinable depth, reinforced by the transparency of the material, which is also customisable to create unique effects.

Geaves managing director Nick Geaves adds: “I spend a lot of time travelling the world looking for original and cost-effective materials and this new range from LIRI and MEPA offer designers fantastically versatile options at tremendous value.”

Geaves continues: “In the current climate a big trend for 2009 is going to be creating bespoke style features but at off-the-shelf prices and materials such as Vibrazioni are absolutely ideal.”

 

LUXURY:

The result of an innovative rotary printing system applied to high pressure laminate, this range is offered in seven colours.

This process means that Luxury creates an iridescent light effect across its surface, which provides a ‘dream-like’ atmosphere and which is ideal as a complement to interiors with sophisticated furniture and finishes.

Geaves adds: “Consumers are becoming increasingly choosy about the environments in which they shop and consequently feature finishes like Luxury provide designers with an incredibly cost-effective way of adding style to any interior.”

DOMINO:

A modern, refined texture designed to bring out the brilliance and softness of each surface and which is reminiscent of a mosaic style.

Available in the Polychrome colour range and suitable for all interior applications, Domino offers rich colours and the detailed etching applied during production adds a graduated effect to the surface, with alternating light and shade across its surface.

Geaves says: “Domino is a great example of how modern production methods now provide designers with bespoke style materials at off the shelf prices.”

 

 

WAVE:

On offer from Geaves, Wave provides a dynamic and textured finish suitable for a range of applications and features.

The design of Wave provides a soft, sinuous weave across its surface, which makes it shiny at times and opaque at others. In addition, it gives the surface a textured and structural feel.

Wave has already had an impact in the retail market, where the modern production techniques employed to create it have provided versatility and impact without the prohibitive costs that traditionally went with high design.

Geaves adds: “The fashion for textured finishes is increasing on the high street as designers look to bring stores to life. Often these more specialist finishes lend themselves to ‘feature’ or ‘refresh’ areas which need to be installed on site or trialled prior to roll out.”
