GDP launches new eco friendly mannequin

GDP has announced the latest in its range of Pandora eco-mannequins, the result of more than two years research and development.

Made from natural plant fibres and bio-resins the range contains higher levels of recyclable and biodegradable raw materials than rival products, without aesthetic sacrifice, according to GDP. The latest Pandora 4 model has seen refinement since previous versions to further increase the recyclable content while reducing weight and cost.

The raw plant fibre material used in Pandora is 100 per cent biodegradable and provides ‘closed loop’ recyclability. Meanwhile the vegetable starch based resin contains 30 per cent less styrene than conventional resin.

Shown here in an unfinished state, the Pandora range can be finished to customer specification. Finished mannequins can be easily repaired and refurbished.
